Pete Sessions, NRCC Chair, Stumbles, Turns To Bush Agenda When Asked How GOP Would Cut Deficit

When asked on specifics how the Republican party would balance the budget, Sessions answered with “We will balance the budget”, then mentions that they need to “read the bills”.

When National Republican Senatorial Committee Chairman, Sen. John Cornyn (R-Tex.) was asked what he would do, he deferred to forthcoming results from a finance commission which the Obama Administration formed because the GOP blocked.

Yes, Mr. Sessions, you do need to read the bills.
